Shaykh Assim Alhakeem:”He came asking for advice and left shocked and upset!
He complained of rage attacks that force him to do and say things he is not pleased with. He once pushed his mother in law, divorced his wife tens of times and broke a lot of stuff round the house.
I asked him:
Have you ever got into a fight on the streets and got badly beaten up?
Have you ever said something inappropriate to a police officer and got jailed for that?
Have you ever got into a fight with your boss which led him to fire you?
He answered was “No” to all of my three questions.
To his utmost surprise, I told him that he is a liar and that he has no rage attacks! These claimed rage attacks are false, selective as he wisely chooses who he wants it to attack.
When the people are under his control, he has no problem expressing his anger. But when the consequences are bad or harmful to him, he knows how to suppress it.
Such people should fear Allah as He alone is your judge and He knows what is in your control and what it is not.”
